It must be admitted that the Holiday season really takes off with Halloween. In Belgium, Halloween isn’t such a big deal and I myself am not really into the horror aspect of it, but I do like to dress up in theme whenever I can.
My Halloween outfit is assembled from separates that I already had in my wardrobe. So I hope this could serve as inspiration for a last minute Halloween outfit, or to those who want to create a Halloween look with items they already own. For the colour scheme, I went with black and purple, both Halloween appropriate shades while still being true to the girly me.
In the Halloween theme, I went for a dark vintage-style makeup look, far more dark than I would usually do. To top it off, I drew a spider web on the side of my face, using eye and lip pencils.
It’s all in the details they say. So I stayed true to the pinup heart manicure, but swapped my usual red nail polish for black and purple. In accordance with the black & purple spider web theme, I added a cute – glittery of course – spider brooch to my accessories, that I’ve been proudly crafting in the past few days.
Even my stockings match the colour scheme for a cheeky stocking flash on Halloween’s eve.
I had a lot of fun putting this themed look together. I’m now going to enjoy this evening watching Tim Burton’s ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ and ‘Corpse Bride’ – I’m too big of a pussy to watch real horror movies.

This s such a cute outfit – I love the details 🙂
Super cute outfit! Even for a non halloween party this would be great, minus the spider web on your face of course ;). I would love to see a post on how you do your nails though! They look amazing!
